As some of you know the nominations for the 2009 podcast awards took place a several weeks ago. I am now pleased to reveal that yesterday Geek Syndicate was nominated in the ‘Best Entertainment Podcast’ Category.
As there were over 321,000 people submitting nominations Dave and I are very happy to find the podcast nominated and we wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time to nominate us.
Daily voting will open for the awards at www.podcastawards.com on November 13th with voting closing November 30th.
We hope you guys who nominated for us will also take the time out to cast your vote for us on a daily basis.

James gives some insights into how the show was marketed and funded as well how Twitter has been incorporated into the build up for the series launch. There’s also some talk about Dan Turner, the co-creator of the series and how he went about getting James into the director’s chair for episode 4-6.
As this is James directorial debut the guys find out what that was like for him and how following the process of making a series from start to finish has been for him.
