These are some new Star Wars inspired 2gb drives that are on the way. I’m definitely picking up the yoda and fett ones.

This bad boy is currently being sold over on the sideshow website (hope they don’t mind me using the image). I’m a fan of both the film and the graphic novel and I’ve always been after a statue. I never thought I’d find one that looked this good though!

Gerry Anderson comes to Forbidden Planet…FAB!

Gerry Anderson, one of the Godfathers of Geekdom, is going to be signing in the Forbidden Planet Megastore, Shaftesbury Avenue. The signing will be taking place on Saturday 18th April 1 – 2pm.

Gerry is one of my heroes  because he gave me some of the most awesome TV I used to watch as a kid. Captain Scarlett, Thunderbirds, Stingray, UFO and Space 1999 and more. It was these shows that helped to cement my love for these kind of genres from an early age.

If any of you fans are in the area I think it’s well worth stopping by to say hello.

I’m a huge fan of anything that has a pulp inspired vibe to it. I just stumbled across something  that fits the bill perfectly.

It’s a 2 Gig steam powered usb(or at least looks like one) stick. This baby has just earn it’s spot on my birthday list!

Coming Soon – Riiflex or Wii Weights as I like to call it

Looking for an extra challenge with your wii fit?  Well it loosk like you won’t have to weight (I know bad joke) much longer. Over at DVICE they  are previewing the Riiflex (I think Wii Weights would have sounded better but what do I know). It basically transforms the Wiimote into a 2 or 5 pound dumbell.

Sounds like a cool use of the Wiimote to me and gives the Wiifit another string to add to it’s bow.

Coming soon…Spidey Bot!

This little guys kicks ass and I definately want one for my house! Apprently a marketable version is about two years away.

It’s a security robot that takes down the bad guys as you can see from the photo by firing a net over the bad guys. It can be controlled by mobile, with a live video feedback.

I know he looks a little short to be dispensing justice but if you head over to DVICE to watch the video they have you can see it doesn’t mess about.

My worry is that one day I forget to clean and I end up face down in a net wondering where I went wrong.
